• We’re motivated to find an experienced and reliable
• Labourer / Operator
• to join our team in the Auckland Region.If you’re an experienced operator, that is flexible to perform volumed labouring duties through your role – this will be highly preferred. Your experience will show a proven work history in civil construction across site preparation, concrete work and proficiency in tools.
• In a
• ddition to the above you will :
• Clean and prepare construction sites, clearing debris
• Help perform dig outs and measure trench depth, ensuring compliance with design specifications
• Load, unload and move materials, tools, and equipment
• Operate excavator, diggers when not performing labourer duties
• Act as a vigilant spotter for machinery operators
• Carry out concrete work, including formwork, mixing, and pouring
• Set up temporary barriers to minimize hazards
• Follow instructions from supervisors, site managers, and civil engineers, working collaboratively as a team
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policiesThis position is physically demanding, hands-on, and requires a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• We’re looking for someone with :
• Must hold a minimum Class 1 NZ Driver Licence
• Holding a 2 and WTR is preferred
• Able to operate Excavators, Diggers and other plant is preferred
• Must have 3 years continuous experience working in civil construction or water work sites
• Physical fitness and ability to work in all conditions
• Ability to use hand tools and small machinery safely and competently
