Packing Technician

A bit about your role

We're on the lookout for a skilled Packing Technician to join our Engineering Services and Plant Maintenance team at our Hokitika site. If you're passionate about automation, proactive maintenance, and keeping production lines running smoothly, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

You'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing automated packing lines to ensure maximum uptime and consistent product quality. You'll plan and coordinate preventative maintenance, manage breakdowns, support annual maintenance planning, and assist with operator training.

You're a hands-on technician with an engineering background and a solid understanding of maintenance diagnostics and automation systems. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy solving problems collaboratively

Westland Milk Products is a well-known New Zealand end-to-end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island with offices and production facilities based in both Christchurch and Hokitika.
