Maniototo Area School is looking for a dynamic and creative social sciences & history teacher to teach Y9 to 13.

The successful candidate must

• Be available to begin the position at the start of term 1
• Be registered or able to register with the NZ Teachers Council.
• Have innovative ideas and a collaborative mindset
• Have a commitment to sport, the arts, outdoor activities and EOTC

Small class numbers, newly built modern classrooms, a wonderful community atmosphere, supportive and collegial staff, and a beautiful Central Otago setting are major attractions.

The position is a full time, fixed-term 1.0 FTTE.

A school house is available if required. Suitable for beginning teachers.
