About the Role :

We are looking for Gasfitters with plumbing experience who have background knowledge and practical skills in the following (but not limited to) :

Installing, testing and commissioning gas systems, appliances, flues and pressure regulating devices

Diagnosing and repairing faults in gas appliances and systems

Ensuring compliance with New Zealand gas safety standards and regulations

Studying blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout and materials

Installing, maintaining and repairing hot and cold water systems and sanitary plumbing fixtures

Fabricating and installing water, waste and drainage systems

Working safely with both LPG and natural gas systems in domestic and commercial settings

Ideally, you will have :

NZ PGDB Gasfitter Licence (current or eligible) – additional Plumber Licence advantageous

Minimum 3+ years' experience in gasfitting and / or plumbing

Trade qualification preferred, but solid experience considered

Your own hand tools and reliable transport

At least 2 work references

Commitment to Health & Safety and ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
