Pest Plant Operator

We are seeking a Pest Plant Operator.ResponsibilitiesCarry out vegetation and pest plant management activities within the region's parks and reserves.Perform chemical spraying and application of herbicides, manual removal of weeds, and operate spray equipment / machinery.Support other teams as required.Qualifications and Success FactorsA clean and current driver's licence with the ability to drive a manual transmission.A current GrowSafe Certificate.Be a team player with a positive attitude; helping out teammates' needs should be second nature.A desire to adhere to the company's health and safety procedures.Motivated with a strong desire to get the job done.Physically fit as the role involves a lot of walking and heavy lifting.Experience in Pest Plant Management is preferred but not required; hard work and outdoor enthusiasm are valued.What We Can OfferA performance-based salary that is reviewed annually.Annual $300 wellness benefit and work phone allowed for personal use.The opportunity to work in a role that gives back to the community.Guaranteed minimum hours with the opportunity to increase based on operational demands.Internal and external learning and development opportunities with the ability to progress your career.Green by Nature is a business which specialises in Sports Turf Management and has diversified into a professional full facility parks maintenance company, operating across New Zealand and Australia.
