About the role
This is a New Vehicle Sales Consultant role based in a central Auckland franchise dealership.
You will be selling a leading luxury marque, renowned for performance, refinement, and cutting-edge technology.
This is not an entry-level role that requires the skills of a proven performer with a documented track record of success.
What you will do
Develop and manage an exclusive pipeline of high-value new-vehicle prospects
Guide customers through the entire sales journey from initial contact to delivery, ensuring a premium, personalised experience
Demonstrate in-depth product knowledge, including features, performance, technology, safety, and lifestyle benefits
Conduct thorough needs assessments and provide tailored vehicle recommendations
Present compelling, values-driven proposals and negotiate terms to close sales while protecting brand integrity
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, fostering repeat business and referrals
Collaborate with management, F&I (finance & insurance), and service teams to ensure seamless ownership experiences
Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Maintain accurate CRM records, activity logs, and forecast reports
Represent the brand strongly at corporate events, tastings, launches, and referral partnerships
Uphold brand standards, visual merchandising, and showroom presentation at all times
Continuous self-development to stay ahead of market trends, competitors, and product innovations
Key requirements
A franchise new-vehicle background with a proven sales track record in the luxury or premium sector
Impeccable communication skills – the ability to speak Mandarin is advantageous but not essential
Ability to engage with high-net-worth clients with discretion, tact, and professionalism
Strong negotiation, closing, and objection-handling abilities
Professional appearance and polished customer-service mindset
Strong time management, self-motivation, and goal-driven attitude
Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics
Eligibility to work in New Zealand
Remuneration and benefits
Attractive retainer plus lucrative performance-based commissions
Target total annual remuneration in the $120,000 to $160,000 range
