- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Web Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Lead Web Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining robust web applications using cutting-edge technologies.The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in asynchronous code, setting up Azure app services, and deploying to Azure. You will work closely with cross functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet our clients' needs and business objectives
- About the Role :
- As EROAD expands globally, we are seeking Lead Web Developer to deliver business outcomes using our technology. Responsibilities of the role include;
- Develop and maintain scalable, secure, and efficient web applications using best practices in web development.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Design, implement, and test features and functionalities based on user stories and project requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code using appropriate frameworks and programming languages.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Identify and resolve performance and security issues in web applications.
- Collaborate with the DevOps team to set up and manage Azure app services for deployment.
- Deploy web applications to Azure and ensure smooth integration with other systems.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to maintain code quality and consistency.
- Stay up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and propose innovative solutions to enhance the development process and deliverables
- Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Developing, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a web developer, with at least 10 years of experience in developing complex web applications.
- Strong proficiency in asynchronous code and handling asynchronous operations.
- Extensive knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and popular JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
- In-depth understanding of back-end development frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Express.js, ASP.NET, Django) and databases (e.g., SQL, NoSQL).
- Hands-on experience with Azure app services, including setup, configuration, and deployment.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Experience with source control systems (e.g., Git) and CI / CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills to identify and resolve technical issues.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within a team
