Mitek Detailer - Frame & Truss

We are looking for an experienced Mitek Detailer to join a busy and growing frame & truss team based in Christchurch.

In this role, you'll use Mitek

• or Sapphire software to produce accurate layouts and shop drawings, working closely with builders, engineers, and production teams.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret architectural and structural plans

Create detailed frame and truss designs

Produce cutting lists and material take-offs

Work with the team to solve design issues

Ensure designs meet NZ Building Code and NZS

Help with QA checks and maintain accurate records

Qualifications

5+ years' detailing experience in NZ

Skilled in Mitek

Strong knowledge of NZ building practices and codes

Great eye for detail and problem-solving

Good communicator and team player

Valid driver's license

Bonus

Trade qualification in carpentry, drafting, or similar

Experience in a manufacturing environment

Knowledge of timber prefab systems
