The Programme Delivery Assistant plays a critical role in the Arts, Culture, and Lifelong Learning (ACLL) Team, ensuring that our library programmes and experiences meet the needs of our communities. You will be working with the ACLL whānau who are committed to serving Selwyn communities and making a difference across its Selwyn Libraries network and at Te Ara Ātea. Our team have diverse backgrounds and bring themselves, their interests, and passion to their mahi.
This full-time role is primarily based at Te Ara Ātea in Rolleston, and involves a mix of library programme coordination, resourcing, and promotion, programme delivery for all ages, and customer service. This opportunity is a great chance for someone already working in libraries to step up into a new role, or someone wanting to make a change to a new career.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be flexible, demonstrate a willingness to learn, a positive can-do approach, and a good understanding of Te Ao Māori and a demonstrated commitment to upholding Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Alongside this you will :
