About the role :

This role sits in the Operations & Service Group, which is made up of LIC's Artificial Breeding (AB), Diagnostics, Farms Management, FarmWise, Field Assist and Herd Testing teams.

Reporting to an Artificial Breeding Support Lead, this role will work within a small, highly skilled administration team to provide support to the wider Artificial Breeding Operations and NZ Markets team's, this includes :

  • A high level of transactional based duties using LIC systems and software
  • Commissioning and programming of AB equipment / providing technical support to the field where necessary
  • Planning and scheduling of AB Equipment and semen products for despatch to the field
  • Stock Control and inventory management
  • Customer service support

This is a fixed term role supporting during our peak season for approximately 6 months.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have :

  • Previous experience within support roles, ie customer service, admin and support
  • Great interpersonal skills and a strong customer focus
  • Strong computing skills with the ability to pick up new systems quickly
  • The ability to prioritise and manage your time well
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Be flexible and solution focused with great problem-solving skills
  • The ability to work autonomously as well as in a team
  • As there is a strong element of query resolution, you must be comfortable working within agreed procedures and timelines, as well as thinking on your feet to ensure a successful outcome. Although not a requirement - SAP knowledge is an advantage. Previous customer service experience and strong computer skills are an absolute must. In peak Season (August - December), you will need to be flexible around working hours and days to meet demand.
