(Full Time) - Weekday, 7.5 hours per day, between 6.am and 3 : pm (option to pick up additional weekend shifts by mutual agreement as required)
(Part Time) - Weekend, 8 hours per day, between 8.am and 5.pm (option to pick up additional weekday and night shifts by mutual agreement as required)
Key role to ensure secure office areas in line with Ministry policy and standard operating procedures.
About the role - Kōrero mō te tūranga
The Security Guard provides a key service to the Ministry. This role delivers first line security services to keep our people and information safe wherever we are in the world. Every member of the Guard team will have responsibilities across a range of activities including ensuring our site is secure, monitoring of CCTV, responding to alarms, security breach checks, supervising uncleared staff, suppliers and contractors and engagement with Ministry staff.
This role operates in a team and shares responsibilities with others in the unit. Whilst the hours of the role are regular, this role has the option to conduct additional shift work, which may include weekends and night shifts from time to time. Employment agreements specify the hours of work, times of day or days of work required for each staff member.

The full salary range for this role is $, to $, total remuneration, inclusive of our 3% KiwiSaver employer contribution. The midpoint is $, We expect to appoint depending on your level of experience.
