ABOUT THE ROLE

We’re on the lookout for a Philanthropy Relationship Manager to grow and nurture a portfolio of Major Donors, the generous supporters who power SPCA’s life‑saving work. This is a permanent, part‑time role (25 hours per week, Tuesday–Thursday) with flexibility to work from anywhere in New Zealand.

This role blends strategy and heart where you’ll manage a Major Donor portfolio, grow new opportunities, and create meaningful donor experiences that strengthen SPCA’s mission. Your days will also include :

• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with Major Donors through authentic engagement.
• Source and cultivate new fundraising prospects using SPCA’s supporter database and networks.
• Create tailored stewardship and cultivation plans that drive ongoing giving.
• Present compelling cases for support and confidently secure major gifts.
• Maintain accurate donor records and reporting in Raiser’s Edge (CRM).
• Collaborate across teams to align communications, share donor insights, and grow fundraising outcomes.
