Produce Assistant

We are currently looking for a Produce Assistant to join our busy store New World located in Waihi. We pride ourselves in providing excellent customer service.

Part time Permanent Position

Hours & Days of work will be as following :

Sunday : 9am-5 : 30pm

Monday : 9am-5 : 30pm

Tuesday : 11am-5 : 30pm

Great pay rate for the right person.

Key responsibilities :

• Assisting in the loading and unloading of produce trucks / deliveries in a timely fashion.
• Ensuring all inwards goods are marked off, temperature checked and put away appropriately thereby reducing wastage, markdowns and stock loss.
• Assisting in the packing of produce as required.
• Ensuring the displays / shelves are appropriately stocked and relevant merchandising standards are always maintained.
• To keep the department’s sanitation and cleanliness at or above the standard.
