This role runs Tuesday and Wednesday from 8 : 15am–5 : 30pm (with a 30-minute lunch break).

You'll play a key role in creating a calm, welcoming environment while helping the practice run efficiently.Your day-to-day responsibilitiesGreeting and welcoming patients in a friendly, professional mannerAssisting dentists during procedures, ensuring proper instrument handling and patient comfortPreparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments according to strict infection control protocolsCollaborating with the dental team to maintain smooth operations and excellent patient carePromoting a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleaguesYour experience and approachYour greatest asset is a positive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit.
While previous dental experience is a bonus, it's not required – we value excellent communication, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset.
The ability to speak additional languages is also a plus, helping us connect with Christchurch's diverse community.You should have : Excellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong organisational and time management abilitiesKnowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred but not required)A friendly, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach to workWillingness to collaborate and contribute to a positive team environmentReady to apply?
