Truck Drivers Required

Qualifed Class 5 Truck Drivers are sought to work in our busy company in Auckland (though you will be driving around the North Island, primarily the Auckland and Waikato regions).

Work will usually be driving around Auckland and Waikato regions but can also be outside of these regions and be around around New Zealand.

You will also need to be fit as there will be a lot of lifting involved in this job.

As a company we do not tolerate alcohol consumption either whilst driving or prior to driving or any other substance or medication which could affect your driving capabilities and your ability to make rational decisions on the road.

You will be able to show maturity and be able to communicate with a wide variety of people.

Must have excellent loading understanding good interpersonal skills and able to work unsupervised.

Your key responsilities will be :

Loading transporting and delivering items in a safe and timely manner.

Loading and unloading items from vehicles

Handling customer enquiries answering questions and escalating any complaints from clients.

Adhering to assigned routes and following time shedules

Preparing reports log books and other documents relating to driving

Keeping the vehicles clean and tidy

Experience in couriers or a logistic type role is an advantage (though not required)

You must be physically fit have a keen eye for detail and a 'Can Do Attitude'.

You must be reliable and be able to communicate well with other staff and customers.

Applicants should have good references and be a team player.

Must have a class 5 license (either a New Zealand license or an Overseas License which can be converted).

This job is for a floating run which means that the applicant must be happy with staying away from home for up to a week at a time (including some weekends as well).

The diver will be staying in the truck parked at our approved truck stops.

For these roles we are looking at a minimum of 30 hours of work per week.

The minimum payrate for this role is $29.66 and the maximum payrate we are looking at is $30.
