Birkdale North School is seeking an experienced, dynamic and enthusiastic teacher to teach our NE–Y1 learners.
The classroom is part of our junior team of three.
We are a small school therefore being able to work collaboratively and as a team is imperative.
The successful candidate will be adaptive to the needs of the students and provide a rich, warm environment where learning through play is an important part of everyday teaching and learning.
We are looking for a teacher who can build genuine relationships with akonga, whanau, colleagues, and be highly skilled in positive behaviour for learning strategies.
Bringing a strong curriculum knowledge base that can be elaborated and developed as we align with the new curriculum would be an advantage.
