Refrigeration & Hvac Service Supervisor

Location : Palmerston North, ManawatuHours : Full time, permanent 40 hours per week plus OTPay range : $45 – $55 per hour plus allowancesRefrigeration & HVAC Service SupervisorAn opportunity has become available in our Palmerston North branch for a Refrigeration & HVAC Service Supervisor.

You will play a key role in taking our service delivery to new heights.

You'll need a strong focus on providing top level customer service and will be instrumental in supporting our field technicians to be the best of the best.

You will need to balance your priorities with time out in the field and time back at the branch assisting in compliance, quoting and other such tasks.Your key responsibilities will include : Provide appropriate support to the local team through communication and provision of technical support and mentoringParticipation in an on-call roster (with great rates)Be proactive in providing assistance to other employees and sub-contractorsEnsure that all maintenance work is carried out as per relevant contractsAbility to determine job priorities and meet deadlines with minimal supervisionLiaise with clients and / or their representatives to discuss / resolve any issues arising from maintenance contracts or other work carried outPrepare quotations or estimates for installation or maintenance and / or related work as requestedEnsure all BwoF / 12a requirements are completed in a timely mannerComply with company policies, procedures, and processes to achieve high-quality business delivery objectives and outcomes to meet and exceed customer expectations.Pro-actively strengthen customer relationships and create opportunities within the Equans business and community.Technical Qualifications And ExperienceAbility to obtain EWRB registration (EST practising licence preferred)Trade certificate (refrigeration mechanic or HVAC)At least 3 years' industry experience which includes a minimum of 2 years' experience in HVAC&R Service Supervision.Proven experience in the commercial and industrial service, maintenance and installation of equipment within the HVAC, refrigeration and building services industryDemonstrated experience with controls and building management systemsProven aptitude for managing competing priorities with successful deliverablesExcellent ability to build effective relationships with clientsExcellent communication skills to clearly relate with clients and peersA current clean NZ Driver Licence or the ability to obtain one, clear Drug & Alcohol tests throughout employment.How To ApplyIf you are interested and meet the selection criteria above, please apply with an up-to-date resume via the application instructions on this website.
