About the role
Be part of a close-knit team of four paediatricians and eight resident medical officers, supported by a nursing team, play specialist, allied health, and support staff, providing comprehensive medical, orthopaedic and surgical services to patients from birth through to 16 years of age.
The role varies to provide a comprehensive general Paediatric service, a number of clinic options, and a level two Neonatal Service that supports up to 1600 deliveries per annum.

This role belongs to the New Zealand Resident Doctors' Association and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement and Specialty Trainees of New Zealand (STONZ) and Te Whatu Ora (Health New Zealand) Collective Agreement.
About the Location
The main cities and towns in the Southern District include Dunedin, Invercargill, Queenstown, and Wānaka. Southern is world famous for its picturesque mountains, fiords, glaciers, coastlines, and lakes that are often depicted on postcards and movies.
