Senior Structural Engineer

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our residential team in Christchurch.

About The Role

As a Senior Engineer, you'll be responsible for overseeing project allocation and delivery, and ensuring the quality and timeliness of our structural engineering solutions.

Your work will span a wide variety of residential projects, from bespoke architectural homes to complex structural alterations.

You'll also :

Lead project planning, proposals, preliminary and detailed designs.

Supervise on-site investigations, monitor progress, and ensure timely reporting.

Foster strong client relationships through excellent service and communication.

Collaborate with our Structural Manager to drive the continued evolution of our SpecifiTM platform, expanding capabilities and client offerings.

About You

Qualified with a BEng (Hons) in Structural Engineering, or equivalent.

CPEng is an advantage or working towards chartership.

Professional engineering experience in NZ, with good residential design, and proven seismic experience to NZ Codes and strong technical knowledge.

Experience in managing structural engineering projects and leading technical teams.

Strong commercial awareness and risk management skills.

A passion for mentoring, team development, and delivering client success.

Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
