About the Role

The role will involve fullinternal rotation onto night shifts. You will have well-developed acute careclinical skills and will value working collaboratively as a proactive andsupportive team member, focused on achieving optimum health outcomes for patientsrequiring Intensive Care services.

About the Team / Location

Join our motivated and enthusiasticworkforce at Nelson Hospital - s 7-bed Intensive and Coronary Care Unit. Our unitprovides care to patients receiving acute coronary care and critical caretherapies.

We are keen to hear from enthusiastic RegisteredNurses who are excited about the prospect of working in a multi-specialty areawith supported clinical development.

About you

  • Competencywith te ao Māori, tikanga, and te reo Māori or a commitment to starting yourjourney and taking ownership of your learning and growth
  • Experiencein projects / initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principals andframeworks, and the application of Mātauranga Māori and Kaupapa Māoriapproaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.
  • Minimumof two years recent acute nursing, or significant ICU experience.
  • adaptabilityin a dynamic rapidly changing work environment.
  • willingnessto share professional knowledge and skills within the Intensive Care team.
