About the Role :
We are looking for a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Driver to join our Auckland workshop team. You will play a crucial role in the handling and movement of hydraulic equipment and goods both within our service centre and during client deliveries.
Key Responsibilities :
Operate forklifts and company trucks to move hydraulic goods within the workshop or to clients’ locations
Align forklifts and adjust forks to stack and unstack items in the workshop or designated storage areas
Carefully monitor transportation and movement of cylinders and hydraulic equipment in line with health and safety procedures
Load and unload equipment, ensuring items are correctly stored for efficient retrieval
Conduct visual checks to monitor equipment operations, including weight and dimensions
Inspect forklifts and delivery vehicles to identify wear, damage, or maintenance issues
Perform minor equipment repairs and servicing as required
Operate other company trucks to pick up or deliver hydraulic equipment for servicing
Support team members with lifting equipment and other workshop work as and when required
Key Employment Terms :
Wage Range : $28.00 to $30.00 per hour (gross), based on experience and skill level
Minimum Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Additional Benefits : Standard holiday and leave entitlements in accordance with New Zealand employment law. Overtime available as per operational requirements.
Minimum Requirements :
At least 3 years of relevant forklift operation experience, preferably in a workshop or industrial setting
Basic mechanical knowledge to inspect and perform minor repairs on equipment
Ability to operate light trucks (Class 2 license required)
Good understanding of workplace health and safety practices
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently as well as part of a team
Strong physical fitness to handle loading / unloading and operating heavy equipment
