We are seeking a fully qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanic - Plant and Equipment

You will be joining a high performing branch based just out of Greymouth with an experienced service manager on site, and a positive / upbeat culture.

The role :

Predominantly Monday - Friday, daytime hours. No shift work providing great work-life balance for you.

Responsibilities include :

• Diagnose, maintain and repair construction equipment that is now in our client’s possession
• Predominantly field service work, some workshop based work
• Maintain and create relationships with customers and potential customers within the region
• Ensure excellent daily communication with the workshop and parts department
• Complete all paperwork as needed
• Ensure timecards are completed daily showing the correct job number
• Record stocks, oils and other material used against a job number
• Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and protocols
