We're looking for a skilled and motivated

Diesel Automotive Technician

to join our team at our

Seaview dealership

in Wellington.

Whether you're a

car, light commercial vehicle technician or AVI certified inspector

looking to step up, or an experienced

heavy diesel technician

What You'll Be Doing

Diagnose and repair faults in diesel engines and related systems

Perform scheduled servicing and preventative maintenance on diesel trucks and equipment

Troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical issues

Apply your deep understanding of diesel technology to deliver high-quality workmanship

Communicate clearly with customers and provide excellent service

Keep accurate records of all repairs and servicing

Maintain and promote a safe, clean, and efficient workshop environment

What We're Looking For

A Level 4 Qualification in Automotive Technology and

at least 3 years' experience in NZ.

Class 1, 2, 4 & 5 Driver's Licences (or willingness to obtain)

Strong diagnostic and repair skills with diesel engines and systems

Excellent attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

A customer-focused mindset with clear communication skills

A commitment to safety and high workshop standards

Ability to work independently and collaboratively
