The role
You'll be out on site and in the workshop, servicing and repairing rotating plant and critical equipment.
One day it might be a pump overhaul, the next a laser alignment or gearbox rebuild.
There's plenty of variety, plenty of challenge, and a solid team backing you.
Daily life includes
Toolbox meeting over a coffee at the Hamilton workshop (or on site)
Heading out to jobs across Waikato, Auckland, BOP, Taranaki, and occasionally the South Island
Working solo or in a small crew on repairs, servicing, and troubleshooting
Precision mechanical repairs, including specialist brush plating techniques
Contributing to a safe, supportive team culture
What we're after
New Zealand Trade Certificates in Mechanical, Fitting & Turning, Toolmaking, Diesel, Marine, Automotive, Aero, Heavy Electrical, or similar
A methodical and accurate approach — engineers who value quality over shortcuts
Solid mechanical knowledge and problem-solving skills
Enthusiasm and willingness to help clients and teammates alike
