We specialise in infrastructure construction, based around reinforced concrete. We are currently delivering work ranging from Bridges, Commercial / Industrial Foundations, Wastewater Pump Stations and Retaining Walls. As a Carpenter you will assist our civil team in building structures, working with a variety of different materials, including timber, steel and concrete. The hourly rate for this role ranges between $29 and $41 per hour depending on qualification and experience. This is a permanent full-time role ranging from a minimum of 40 hours guaranteed hours and maximum of 60 hours per week. The role is based in Dunedin working on projects through the Otago region.
• In addition to the above you will be :
• Taking part in pre-start meetings and risk planning before starting work
• Reading and understand construction plans and drawing
• Constructing complex falsework / formwork for concrete structures
• Completing intricate timber work for timber railing, board walks, and bridges.
• Pouring and placing concrete.
• Operating handheld tools and equipment.
• Measuring and cutting materials.

• looking for someone with :
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
• Current full Class 1 driver licence (desirable)
• Current Class 2 & W,T,R endorsements an advantage
• Skills and experience in carpentry is desirable but not essential.
