We invite all eligible employees who are interested in applying to submit an application to be considered for this role.About the RoleThe Nursing Resource Team (NRT) is excited to offer a rewarding opportunity for a motivated Registered Nurse to join us as a Clinical Coach.

This 0.8FTE, 12-month fixed-term role provides a valuable pathway toward clinical education and professional growth within a supportive and dynamic environment.As a Clinical Coach, you will play a key role in supporting the skill development of new nursing staff, while also enhancing the capabilities of our existing nursing and Healthcare Assistant (HCA) workforce.

This position offers flexible days between Monday to Friday, with negotiable hours typically between 9 : 30 am and 6 : 00 pm.Key responsibilitiesProvide hands-on support to the Nurse Educator in delivering education and training programs.Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives, helping to develop and implement best practices.Assist in conflict resolution, offer performance feedback, and coach staff to strengthen team effectiveness and morale.About youOur successful candidate will have : Completion of a preceptorship course is highly advantageous.Current Professional Development Recognition Programme (PDRP) registration preferred, but not mandatory.Experience within NRTExperience in a champion or leadership role is beneficial.What we can offerSupport and guidance to help you progress toward a higher PDRP level.Registration in the Insight Programme for professional development.Gain insight into workforce planning and leadershipOpportunities to build meaningful relationships with senior staff within NRT and across the organisationEligibilityThis opportunity is open to current Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora Waikato employees who meet the qualifications outlined above.
