Asphalt Operator - Batch Plant - Silverdale, Auckland

Overview

Our Higgins Green Team in Auckland is on the lookout for a multi-skilled Operator to join our Batch Plant in Silverdale, Auckland.

This is a permanent full-time position working 40h per week.

In this role you will undertake a range of cyclic tasks so we're looking for someone with a broad set of operating skills.

What you'll bring to the role

Full Class 1 is essential + WTR would be advantageous

1+ year prior experience in Asphalt batch plant

Previous experience operating one or more of the following; excavator, front loader, skidsteer, roller, crew cab

Previous experience with asphalt, drainage or concrete

Willing to be hands on and support your team with a variety of tasks

Strong focus on health and safety not only for yourself, your colleagues but also the public

Basic computer skills

Flexible, committed and reliable – will turn up rain or shine
