About the Role

General Medicine at Te Toka Tumai, part of the Adult Medical Directorate, is in search of an experienced administrator to join our team as a Ward Clerk.

A supportive and dynamic team with numerous opportunities for the ideal candidate to upskill and grow.

This role requires someone who wants to work 20 hours per week.

This is a 7-month fixed term from the end of November

• to the end of June

As a ward clerk you will :

Provide clerical support to the General Medicine ward 68Being the first point of contact for visitors and internal clients to the service and providing a high-quality customer-focused approach through face to face and telephone contact.Perform various administrative tasks associated with the smooth operation of the clerical aspects of the service; including data entry of Patient Information into the relevant IS systems and administration of clinical records and associated documentationFor further details, please refer to the position description here.

About you

As an ideal candidate for this role, you will :
