Overview

Senior Claims Specialist, Long Tail role at QBE Insurance. Primary focus is to provide delivery of superior claims service, determine policy coverage to conclude, investigate, evaluate and negotiate assigned cases.

Your new role

As a Senior Claims Specialist, you’ll play a key role in delivering an exceptional claims experience. You’ll assess policy coverage, investigate claims, and negotiate resolutions with empathy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include :

• Proactively managing your own portfolio of financial lines or general liability claims through to resolution.
• Building strong, trusted relationships with clients and stakeholders through clear communication and a values-led approach.
• Overseeing the litigation process in collaboration with the Legal Panel.
• Identifying opportunities to reduce claims costs and minimise leakage, while promoting a strong risk management culture.
• Providing technical support and mentoring to Claims Specialists on complex matters.
• Discussing flexible working arrangements as needed.
