Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8) / kura tuatahi, Certificated teacher

We are seeking a professional and committed teacher to join our positive and welcoming school community as the permanent teacher of our Y4-6 class, starting Term 1, 2026.

If you are a collaborative educator who enjoys working with the inquisitive middle-primary age group and is comfortable in a digital learning environment, we encourage your application.

Key skills and experience :

• NZ teacher registration and a current Practising Certificate.
• Digital fluency : Proven skill and experience with modern learning environments, Google platforms (e.g., Google Classroom), and a commitment to the Manaiakalani programme's pedagogy and practices.
• Numeracy expertise : Knowledge and / or experience with the Maths No Problem Numeracy approach.
• Literacy Foundation : Knowledge and / or experience with the Structured Literacy BSLA programme.
• Planning and Implementation : Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and assess programmes that cater for the individual learning needs of all students (differentiation) within the middle primary curriculum.
