About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer, you’ll lead the design, development and integration of software solutions that are scalable, secure and easy to maintain. You’ll work across the full stack and integration landscape-building APIs, services and automation workflows that connect ECAN’s core systems and support data-driven decision making.
You will mentor colleagues, promote modern engineering practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital services that support our strategic goals and community outcomes.

Hours of work – Permanent full-time position 40 hours per week. From time to time, as required, the role may require work outside of normal work hours for emergency and flood response and to represent Environment Canterbury at meetings and events with partners, other agencies, and the community.
Location - This position is predominantly based at 200 Tuam Street, Christchurch.
Salary - The indicative salary range for role is $101,839 to $125,801 per annum depending on skills and experience. The specific salary will be discussed at interview stage.
