Are you passionate about driving compliance, safety, and operational excellence? Due to an internal promotion, we have a permanent opportunity for a Compliance and Assurance Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping a safer, more compliant, and forward‑thinking airline.
Working within the Supply Chain Performance team, you will work closely with Operational, Health & Safety and Risk and Audit teams to provide specialist advice to Supply Chain leaders on implementation of compliance strategies and improvements to achieve best practice for safe and compliant operations, effective management of health, safety, operational risk across the organisations, improved safety culture and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legislative requirements.
How you’ll make an impact
- Drive the adoption and maturity of Safety Management Systems (SMS) through strategic guidance and impactful coaching
- Provide specialist operational health, safety, and wellbeing advice to ensure best practice management of risks across our business
- Lead Supply Chain compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements including IOSA, IATA, CAA, ESG, and Health & Safety standards
- Oversee comprehensive audits across Supply Chain, addressing environmental, ethical, and labour practices
- Develop and maintain effective compliance assurance programmes and processes, guiding continuous improvement
- Facilitate incident and accident investigations, ensuring robust analysis and follow‑through on corrective actions
What you’ll bring
Safety Management System (SMS) related experience and regulatory compliance experienceProven skills delivering Safety and / or Operational Risk programmesExperience in the aviation industry in either a compliance and / or safety role is preferredAdvanced analytical and audit skills, capable of managing audit programmes and delivering data‑driven insightsAbility to interpret complex regulations and translate them into practical, compliant operational policiesExcellent communication, facilitation, and influencing skills to drive change and ensure adoption of best practicesIt would be desirable to understand EPA and ESG Legislation & Compliance and End‑to‑End Supply ChainWhat we can offer you
