RNZ is looking for a talentedand motivated Producer / Reporter to join the team behind Morning Report, ourflagship weekday news programme.

Thisis a fast-paced, high-impact role where you'll help shape the nationalconversation each morning.
You'll work closely with a collaborative productionteam to develop sharp story ideas, source compelling interviews, and producecontent for both radio and digital platforms.
Therole will involve :
Developingand producing compelling news content for live broadcast
Sourcingand preparing interviews, briefing notes, and story angles
Contributingto RNZ's digital and social media presence
Collaboratingwith colleagues across RNZ News and wider teams
UpholdingRNZ's editorial standards and values
We'relooking for someone who's passionate about news and comfortable working in a fast-paced, live broadcast environment.
You'll be confident juggling multipletasks, thinking on your feet, and collaborating with a tight-knit team todeliver high-quality journalism.
You'llalso have :
Astrong interest in current affairs and news, both national and globally.
Experiencein live production and creating digital content
Excellentcommunication and planning skills
Audioediting skills, field recording experience is a bonus
Familiaritywith RNZ's Editorial Policy and media law
