The Procurement, Supply Chain & Health Technology Management (PSC&HTM) team at Health New Zealand are a national function with a vast and complex scope. They play a critical role in ensuring the availability, safety, and efficiency of clinical and non-clinical goods and services across the health system. Responsible for managing and influencing over$9 billion in annual spend, the team are central to delivering high-quality patient outcomes and standardising product usage across regions.
About the Role
As a Contract Launch Manager within our regional teams, you'll play a pivotal role in preparing, and implementing commercial opportunities in Health New Zealand districts. This role is essential to ensuring product optimisation opportunities are successfully implemented, delivering savings while improving patient outcomes and aligning with national agreements.
You'll work closely with suppliers, clinicians, and internal teams to coordinate product changes, manage stakeholder engagement, and ensure successful adoption of new products. Your ability to influence, plan, and execute will be key to driving commercial and clinical benefits across the health system.
About you
You're a strategic thinker with a strong commercial or sales mindset and a passion for improving healthcare delivery. With a proven ability to influence stakeholders, manage relationships, and lead change, you're confident navigating ambiguity and driving initiatives that deliver measurable outcomes.
Your background includes experience in procurement, sales, product management, supply chain, or health technology, and you're comfortable working across clinical and non-clinical teams to implement product changes that improve patient outcomes and reduce costs. You're highly organised, analytical, and a natural communicator, able to present compelling business cases, coordinate cross-functional teams, and manage multiple priorities with ease.
Above all, you're motivated by making a meaningful impact in the health sector and contributing to a system that delivers better care for all New Zealanders.
