About the Role
We have the opportunity available to join our Business Services team as a Manager, Purchasing and Contracting in a permanent, full-time role.
The primary purpose of the role is to manage a team of technical experts in provider purchasing, procurement and contracting for the National Public Health Service. The role is also expected to provide technical business advice to senior decision-makers.
Your expertise will be drawn upon by different parts of the National Public Health Service including the senior leadership team, so you will be someone that can work at pace and collaboratively with senior leaders.

About you
You are an ‘all-rounder' with strong financial, business and procurement experience in purchasing and contracting, including in providing advice and analysis in a health context. You will bring strong commercial and business nous. You have excellent analytical skills combined with an ability to quickly assimilate technical information from multiple sources under time pressures.
