The opportunity :
Manukau Health Park includes Manukau SuperClinic, which provides outpatient appointments, and Manukau Surgery Centre, which offers day surgery services and elective surgeries for patients.
As part of the Grow Manukau Project, we are looking for a motivated and experienced clinical pharmacist to work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to deliver innovative, patient-centred care and drive quality improvement initiatives.
With increased theatre and ward capacity amongst the many exciting developments underway at Manukau Health Park, there is a need to grow our clinical pharmacy presence and build on our existing services which include regular attendance at the General Surgery pre-admission clinic, clinical coverage of the inpatient wards, as well as support for the Manukau Infusion Centre and outpatient clinics.
This new senior role will be based primarily at Manukau Health Park and calls for a self-motivated clinician who thrives in a more autonomous environment and is confident working independently while collaborating effectively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
