- Your Role : APAC Pharmacovigilance (PV) Leader
- As the APAC PV Leader, you will oversee all pharmacovigilance activities across the APAC region, ensuring compliance with local and global PV requirements and safeguarding Elanco’s product portfolio. In this role, you will lead the APAC PV team, strengthen PV systems, and partner closely with regulatory authorities and internal stakeholders to maintain robust, compliant, and trusted PV operations.
- Your Responsibilities :
- Lead, develop, and support the APAC PV team, including direct reports and external partners, ensuring capability, training, and performance.
- Ensure PV compliance across APAC according to local regulations, global PV standards, and Elanco QMS, including audit and inspection readiness.
- Serve as the regional PV point of contact, oversee PV agreements, and ensure third-party compliance.
- Implement new PV regulations and escalate regional requirements, issues, and trends to Global Pharmacovigilance (GPV).
- Lead key PV activities for New Zealand, including AE reporting, PSUR submissions, SOP management, and collaboration with local regulatory and TACS teams.
- What You Need to Succeed (Minimum Qualifications) :
- Education :
- DVM, medical degree, science degree, or PhD in a scientific field relevant to animal health and pharmacovigilance.
- Experience :
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmacovigilance.
- Skills :
- Strong leadership + excellent communication, diplomacy, negotiation, cultural awareness, and stakeholder management.
- What Will Give You a Competitive Edge (Preferred Qualifications) :
- Proven experience leading and developing remote, diverse teams across a regional matrix.
- Strong understanding of regulatory, legislative, and political environments within APAC.
- Experience collaborating with regulatory authorities and managing PV-related inspections or audits.
- Ability to influence across functions and work flexibly and solution-oriented with cross-functional partners.
- Experience representing PV requirements at a regional or global level.#
