• Defence Security (DSy) provides a sustainable and credible security organisation primarily focussed on NZDF's domestic security environment through the provision of a range of protective security policies, services, products and advice.

DSY's purpose is to protect the NZDF from security threats, vulnerabilities and risks that could cause harm to our people, information and capabilities.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader who demonstrates exceptional critical thinking, interpersonal acumen, and sound judgment.

This is a fast-paced and diverse role that requires a high level of discretion, adaptability, and the ability to navigate complex situations with confidence and professionalism.The role is responsible for all vetting services for the NZDF and providing vetting-related advice, process improvements and inter-agency engagement.

This role has a strong focus on the delivery of vetting services, National Security Clearance management, security incident triage, and security screening to support the protection of NZDF personnel and capabilities from harm.This role is based in Defence House Wellington CBD, and requires regular domestic travel as you will be managing a team based at different NZDF Camps / Bases throughout NZ.Occasional international travel may be required to attend conferences or professional development opportunities.If successful, you can commence in this rewarding role in January
