AUT's Research Ethics Office plays an essential role ensuring high-quality ethical research and providing services to streamline research processes for our researchers.
Responsibilities
Leading and mentoring a team of five consultants, specialists, and an educator through change.
Managing complaints and ethics triage.
Communicating effectively with senior and emerging researchers.
Embedding the transformation project across the university.
Building a cohesive, high-performing team culture.
Supporting a service-focused approach to research ethics.
About you
Proven experience leading teams through transition and uncertainty.
Strong communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to navigate complex personalities with maturity and professionalism.
Experience in tertiary or research-focused environments.
Interest in generative AI and future-focused systems.
A mindset of "How can I help?" serving researchers and enabling great research.
