Our client is a leading packaging manufacturer base at Wigram We’re seeking skilled and motivated SMT Operators with an engineering background to join their dynamic team.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Operating SMT machines efficiently to minimise downtime
- Setting up machines for production runs
- Changing components and applying solder paste to boards
- Inspecting assembled products for faults
- Controlling stencils and maintaining SMT quality records
- SMT Hand Placement
- Notifying the Store Controller when reels of parts are low
- Monitoring solder paste and consumables inventory
- Performing preventive maintenance of SMT machines
- Monitoring machine reject / fault rates
- Supporting production as needed during overload periods
- Inspecting finished PCBs and performing fault analysis
- Testing, verification, and fault-checking electronic products according to technical manuals
