About the role
We are looking for three qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanics to maintain, diagnose, and repair a diverse range of heavy machinery.
This role offers a fantastic split, allowing you to work on both advanced agricultural machinery and powerful construction equipment.
Key responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacements
Conduct thorough diagnostics using modern laptop-based software and diagnostic tools to identify electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical faults
Repair and overhaul engines, transmissions, hydraulics, and electrical systems
Perform pre-delivery inspections (PDI) and post-repair testing to ensure equipment meets manufacturer specifications and safety standards
Accurately complete job reports, service records, and parts requisitions
Provide exceptional customer service and technical advice to our clients
Equipment you will work on
Agricultural / farm machinery : tractors, sprayers, defoliators, wrappers, balers, harvesters, and other similar equipment
Construction equipment : excavators, track loaders, skid-steer loaders, wheel loaders, dozers, and backhoes
The ideal candidate
A trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or another relevant automotive qualification
You will ideally have NZ or Australian citizenship; we will consider other applications that meet specific requirements
Proven experience servicing, repairing, and performing diagnostics on agricultural and / or construction machinery
The ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
Excellent problem-solving skills and a strong commitment to workplace safety
Strong technical skills in :
Hydraulic systems : troubleshooting pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
Electrical and electronics : reading wiring diagrams and using diagnostic software
Powertrain : knowledge of diesel engines, transmissions, and differentials
Preventative maintenance : adhering to strict service schedules

Remuneration : $45–$50 per hour plus 12% superannuation
