Assistant Underwriter

Overview

Location : Dunedin or Christchurch. Type : Permanent, full time. Flexible hybrid working environment, with a minimum 3 days in the office, following required training period.

Reporting to our Team Leader Administration, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth operations and excellent service delivery as an Assistant Underwriter in the Property, Motor and Liability teams.

Responsibilities

• Providing administration support to the Underwriters and the team on insurance policies from new business, Mid Term Adjustments (MTAs), and renewals through to their cancellation or lapse.
• Supporting activities such as managing credit control, producing Certificates of Insurance and processing policies and schedules.
• Developing good working relationships and ensuring timely communication with all internal customers and stakeholders.
• Flexibility to discuss and accommodate working arrangements as needed.
