Subjects : English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts

Position Summary

We are looking to complete our

• team with a new entrant teacher to join us from the beginning of term
• for children who are starting school in our 3rd cohort of the year (18 students).

The class will start on the first day of term 2 and go through to the end of the year.

What we are looking for

A lovely teacher who enjoys being with children who are just starting school for the first time.

A teacher who enjoys a level of structure and organisation in the day

A teacher who will enjoy a device free classroom

A teacher who finds joy in teaching reading, writing, maths, painting, model making, arts and crafts, swimming, singing, Te Reo, dance and all the things that make a great start to schooling for young children.

It is an advantage to be experienced Y0-1 teacher

It is an advantage to be trained in SL (pref. with Liz Kane)
