Our rural school is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated educator to join our team as a teacher prepared to teach in a Junior classroom (Y1-4).
We are looking for someone who is collaborative and eager to contribute to a dynamic and future-focused team.
Building strong relationships with akonga, whanau, and colleagues is central to who we are.
The ideal candidate will bring excellent interpersonal, organisational, and collaborative skills, a positive attitude, and a good sense of humour.
Suitable for a beginning teacher
Demonstrates strong teaching and learning pedagogy across the curriculum,
including sound assessment practices.
Embraces a culture of reflection, feedback, and ongoing professional growth.
Shows cultural responsiveness, a commitment to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and actively promotes Te Reo Maori and tikanga Maori in class and across the kura.
Has an understanding of Structured approaches to Literacy and Mathematics.
Possesses experience and confidence working with learners in the junior school.
