• will be to contribute to the effective application of NZTA's procurement processes and practices through the planning and sourcing phases and supporting the management stage of the procurement life cycle. You will support the establishment and management of panel arrangements and secondary selection processes, ensuring processes are consistent with established NZTA and government policies and standards.'Working in one of New Zealand's largest public sector procuring agencies, this role offers the opportunity to further develop your procurement career while supporting varied and interesting work. • Our ideal candidate will have some or all of the following (but don't worry if you don't tick every box).
• Previous procurement experience working within a government or commercial environment.
• Ability to rapidly understand and apply new procurement ideas and information.
• Demonstrate understanding of government procurement policies, rules, and process.
• Show understanding of contractual requirements and risk management techniques.
• Exhibit strong relationship management skills across an organisation and with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Good analytical and conceptual thinking skills and a developing level of commercial acumen that can drive value for the organisation.
• A tertiary qualification in a related discipline or equivalent experience is preferred, and working towards a CIPS or similar qualification is desirable.Our people are proud to be part of creating a better New Zealand.
