Are you a motivated experienced Drainlayer with a passion for Drainage? Looking for a new career opportunity?

We are seeking an experienced Drainlayer to join our clients dynamic team, working in 3 Waters. If you have a background in drainlaying and are looking for an exciting opportunity to work on large-scale projects around Canterbury (Christchurch and Selwyn), we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities :

  • Installation, maintenance, and repair of stormwater, wastewater, and water drainage systems on large scale drainage projects.
  • Excavation, trenching, and backfilling in line with safety standards and project specifications.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Work with a team of skilled tradespeople, subcontractors, and project managers to deliver quality outcomes.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve drainage issues, ensuring the longevity and efficiency of systems.

Key Requirements :

  • Qualified or Experienced Drainlayer with relevant trade qualifications and / or  experience.
  • Solid experience in civil construction, specifically drainage and underground utility work.
  • Ability to interpret plans and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills and able to work in a team environment
  • Full driver’s license (Class 2 preferred)
  • WTR
