About the Role
We're looking for a National Facilities Manager to oversee the day-to-day property and facilities operations across all SPCA sites nationwide.
This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week role, offering the opportunity to make a tangible impact across our organisation every day.
You'll play a key role in ensuring our centres are well-maintained, compliant and cost-efficient, while contributing to the development of long-term maintenance plans and strategic property projects.
Your days will include :
Managing and triaging all property maintenance and repair requests across SPCA sites
Liaising with landlords, suppliers and tradespeople to resolve facilities issues efficiently
Ensuring all work complies with the Health and Safety at Work Act
Developing a 10-year maintenance plan for all SPCA-owned sites
Maintaining a national register of facilities issues, outcomes and reporting trends
Partnering with the Grants team to align maintenance and capital works with funding opportunities
Supporting national procurement initiatives and supplier relationships
Assisting the National Property Manager in developing SPCA's long-term property strategy

About You
You'll bring strong experience managing facilities across multiple sites, with the ability to balance day-to-day operational priorities with long-term strategic planning.
You'll be proactive, solutions-focused, and confident working collaboratively with a wide range of people.
To be successful, you'll have :
Solid understanding of financial management and budgeting
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Experience in general building construction and maintenance
High attention to detail and organisational ability
Full NZ driver's licence
