There is a growing Water Infrastructure Group in New Zealand and they are looking for two high-calibre professionals to join the team in Auckland : Technical Director – Water Infrastructure (Wastewater focus) | $160K-$195K Senior to Principal Wastewater Engineer | $130K–$155K These roles are central to the continued success of a respected multidisciplinary consultancy delivering a raft of infrastructure and environmental solutions across New Zealand.
About the Roles Technical Director – Water Infrastructure (Wastewater) You'll lead the growth of wastewater capability, manage complex projects, and drive strategic direction within the Water Infrastructure Group.
Key responsibilities include : Leadership of wastewater and three-waters projects across Auckland and nationally.
Business development and key client relationship management.
Technical oversight and delivery excellence on treatment plants, pump stations, and networks.
Mentoring and developing high-performing engineers.
Strategic input into team growth, capability planning, and future shareholding pathways.

Senior to Principal Wastewater Engineer You'll play a key role in the technical delivery of wastewater projects, with growing leadership responsibilities and opportunities to work alongside a highly experienced team.
Key responsibilities include : Design and delivery of wastewater treatment and reticulation infrastructure.
Project management and cross-disciplinary collaboration.
Client liaison and proposal support.
Opportunity to mentor junior staff and contribute to business growth initiatives.
What You'll Bring (Both Roles) A degree in Civil, Environmental , or Natural Resources Engineering .
Senior–Principal role : 8+ years of experience.
Technical Director role : 15+ years of experience, with proven team and business leadership.
Experience working on municipal wastewater infrastructure projects.
CPEng or working towards chartership.
Strong communication skills and a passion for collaboration.
Commercial and client-facing experience is highly desirable.
