Job Description

In this role, you'll provide crucial chairside support to our clinicians, ensuring every patient enjoys a smooth, positive experience from start to finish.

You'll play a key role in creating a calm, welcoming environment while helping the practice run efficiently.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include :

Greeting and welcoming patients in a friendly, professional manner

Assisting dentists during procedures, ensuring proper instrument handling and patient comfort

Preparing treatment rooms and sterilising instruments according to strict infection control protocols

Collaborating with the dental team to maintain smooth operations and excellent patient care

Promoting a positive and supportive environment for both patients and colleagues

Qualifications

Your greatest asset is a positive, can-do attitude and strong team spirit.

While previous dental experience is a bonus, it's not required – we value excellent communication, attention to detail, and a patient-first mindset.

The ability to speak additional languages is also a plus, helping us connect with Christchurch's diverse community.

You should have :

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Strong organisational and time management abilities

Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures (preferred but not required)

A friendly, enthusiastic, and detail-oriented approach to work

Willingness to collaborate and contribute to a positive team environment
