OneStaff has an exciting fixed-term opportunity for an Recruiter with a passion for working with people to join our busy Taranaki team and gain valuable experience in the recruitment industry.

This role is a 6-month maternity leave cover from October 2025 until April 2026, and we're seeking a motivated individual with excellent time management skills to help us meet the growing demand for recruitment services in the region.Our business provides recruitment and labour hire solutions across a wide range of industries including trades, construction, transport, manufacturing, and logistics.

As part of our team, you'll support the management of a busy temporary workforce while ensuring the health and safety of our onsite personnel.Key Responsibilities : General office administration, including maintaining and updating our candidate management databaseOnboarding and processing new job seekersProviding excellent customer service via phone, email, and face-to-face interactionsSupporting a high volume of job seekers from diverse backgroundsManaging client requirements and building strong relationshipsCoordinating the daily logistics of a large mobile workforceSupporting health and safety processes, including recording inductions, assessments, and observationsWhat We're Looking For : A positive attitude with excellent people skills and strong time managementExperience with database management and administrationA genuine passion for customer service and working with peopleThe ability to manage multiple tasks and remain composed under pressureA great sense of humour and willingness to contribute to a fun, team-focused environmentExperience working within health & safety policy and processesWhat We Offer in Return : A fantastic workplace within a vibrant, supportive teamA mobile phone with free personal NZ-wide calling & textingA fixed remuneration package with additional leave & health insurance benefitsYour birthday off each yearMonday to Friday, 8am - 5pm (occasional extra hours may be required)Remuneration will be negotiated based on skills and experience.
